Our client has an opportunity for 2 veterans or emergency responders who would like to start a career in underground mining as a Trainee Truck Operator in WA
Rate: training at $44p/hr then $45.78 p/hr once competent
Roster: 2:1 (NS and DS)
Point of hire: Perth
· Must be a permanent resident or Aus citizen
· Have a valid manual licence
· Reside in Perth/Perth greater region
· Police clearance with no recent/serious offences
· Labour/trade background is preferrable but not essential
· Mentally and physically fit to work in an Underground environment
Note: the site you will be working at will be lead minerals site and carries potential health risks particularly with fertility, we advise candidates to do their own research to decide if you are comfortable with the associated risks. Obviously, all precautions and testing are in place on site to keep everyone as safe/healthy as possible, but it does still carry risk.
Due to the fertility risk and lead levels being absorbed at a higher rate in females, unless you are past the age of wanting children and 100% aware of the potential risks.
