Our client is currently seeking Cargo Warehouse Operators and you must be Perth Based. Working for a reputable aviation company based at Perth Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in aviation with a company that values safety, teamwork, and professional growth.
To be suitable for this position you will need to be flexible and reliable with the ability to work, day, afternoon and night shifts, including weekends as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, and or freight Handling
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating the counterbalance forklift
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Hold a current forklift licence
- Hold a national police clearance with in 12 months or willing to obtain
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency working rights
- Must be physically fit and able to lift and move around freight by hand
- Aviation experience highly regarded
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move, stage and load air freight
- Handle and process incoming and outgoing cargo according to standard procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- Uphold safety and security standards in line with company and airport regulations
