Pump Technician – Mining Underground.
Roster 2:2
Requirements:
- Holds a Fixed Plant / Fitter & Turner Qualification or Certificate III in Plumbing
- Experience installing, maintaining and repairing underground pumping and dewatering systems.
- Knowledge of pumps, pipelines, valves, hoses, fittings and hydraulics.
- Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Commitment to mine safety procedures, isolations and underground operating standards.
- Experience working in underground mining environments highly regarded.
- Ability to work FIFO rosters and perform physically demanding underground work.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail, including maintenance reporting and documentation.
