SKILLED WORKFORCE READY
The Opposition has commended organisers of the 8th annual Military to Civilian Career Summit, held at Irwin Barracks in Perth.
The summit was delivered through a partnership between veteran charity Working Spirit and RSLWA, and was attended by over 40 businesses, organisations, and veteran support services.
Opposition Leader Mia Davies said the event created a critical link between veterans and employers looking for skilled and motivated personnel.

WOMEN in DEFENCE AWARDS
Last week we celebrated the winners and Hall of Fame inductee of ADM’s Women in Defence Awards with over 600 people via a virtual event. With winners from APS, in uniform, Primes and SMEs the field of contenders was strong and diverse. From working in submarines to the Hawk lead in fighter and joining us from a firing range to moving to a new house to maternity leave, our finalists told their stories and shared their journeys.
